    Like any type of treatment its risky, chemo would be the better choice. I don’t wanna kill your hopes, but lung cancer is one of the more serious cancers. It claimed my grandfather, he was a fighter though. Do the radiation, and prayer might help too.

    If it is non-surgical, chemo and radiation is typically standard, and even that is spotty. Radiation alone practically does not offer a great prognosis, largely because most lung cancers are slow-growing and resistant to chemo/radiation because they are very slow-growing (thus similar to the body’s cells). The best thing to do is just not lose hope, because sometimes that’s all you have. My mom just had adenocarcinoma removed from her colon, and is currently going through chemo. I will keep your loved one in my thoughts and prayers.

    My son-in-law is the chief physicist at a major cancer center and there they have very up to date equipment that can direct radiation to the exact spots so as not to destroy healthy cells as the old types use to do. With radiation plus the medication then perhaps that will give the patient some extra special time…..God Bless

    The chances are very very slim. Plus the chances for getting a second case of cancer there or somewhere else increase with radiation treatment.

    Guys, MOST doctors are taking kickbacks from the drug companies, don’t kid yourselves… Just like politicians, money is changing hands…. And it’s time to stop them! Lets have a vote in this country, legalize or not… Stephen Harper is 100% useless at this point….

    President=Puppet for Corp America. MONSANTO Corporation has PATENTS on the SEEDS that they have altered! So, even though the Constitution states no patents on life– which is why Rick states that HEMP cannot be patented– I guess that LAW is overlooked when a nut sack of a corporation like MONSANTO is the one applying for the patents. WE ARE BEING HERDED, not HEARD! Wake up People! DARE to challenge the system in pursuit of doing what is GOOD instead of what is ‘right’.

    @lawlmann

    Opium is not a actual plant, and its only deadly and addictive if someone wants to make it deadly and addictive.

    Ive been using it correctly for years and Ive never once had a physical addiction to it, or any substance for that matter.

    And opium didn’t ruin countries, the jackasses living in those countries ruined them, they and other people might like to use a drug as a scapegoat for there failure but thats just a pathetic excuse for why they’re irresponsible.

    @xmenrus

    Opiates and cannabis are two COMPLETELY different drugs, please do not compare them, thats like comparing a elephant to a octopus.

    Cannabis is the best drug your going to find for many illnesses.

    By the way, no one said anything about it curing a STD, it really doesn’t cure anything with the exception of killing cancer cells.

    It just really makes me mad when people who are ignorant on the subject like to come in and talk about things they know nothing of.

    – The FDA is very stupid . It has killed many lives. There are many natural cures to many sicknesses but the STUPID FDA never ever accepts them.

    Hemp products = WIN. I even use hemp lotion while masturbating to save the environment. Hemp products may cost twice as much because they are imported but fuck it. I’m giving my money to the good guys!!

    I just found hemp soap in my local grocery store and i’m lovin’ it! It’s expensive but the bar lasts twice as long. Tis so nice to be able to rub your body with something that’s not loaded with bullshit chemicals that leave your skin all weird. This stuff smells so good and natural, almost as if you could take a bite out of it. It smells nutty. I’m only buying hemp products from now on. They are awesome and healthy and chemical free. The way were suppose to be living! Thanks god!

    xmenrus.. I suppose there are some who just prefer to use a concoction of poisions that make them deathly sick and makes their life miserable (chemo) or burn their body up with radiation treatments than to ever think of those evil, evil alternatives such as herbs etc. Let’s all just keep doing what we have been doing and getting the same results by using traditional methods of treatments for cancer.. ugh. To rely on the establishment that only seeks profit? Now that’s stupid!

    @xmenrus It’s narrow-minded people such as yourself who are willing to throw out the baby with the bath water. “Pot Bullshit” has, admittedly been both a blessing and a curse to many thousands of people. Used properly as a MEDICINE, this seems to have positive effects. What’s so wrong with that? If YOU or one of your loved ones had cancer you’d try ANYTHING that could possibly cure it, wouldn’t you? So…Don’t be such a hypocrit — or simply get your head out of the sand and admit it MAY work!

    My mother had radiation at stage I, a year later it had metastasized to stage IV Cancer, I think more studies should be published on mainstream protocols, to see why these treatments are not effective.
